Celtic  Roots

I originally trained with three times UK Hairdresser of the Year Jon Richardson and was myself a finalist both here (NSW) and in the UK.  I emigrated to Australia in 2008 and opened Celtic Roots Hair Designers in 2010 having previously owned a salon in Falmouth, Cornwall for ten years.

Celtic Roots uses Goldwell products exclusively.  Following the maxim “if it ain’t bust why fix it?”, I have worked with Goldwell products for over twenty years and consider them to be in the top four.   Goldwell Nectaya Colour is probably the greenest product so far and definitely the gentlest I have come across.  Indeed, to use anything else would be a step backwards.

The real hair extensions I use are American Dream or Hairaisers products.  They are an ethically based collection and when they say it is hair I know we can trust them.  Dome monofibre extensions offer a more cost effective alternative.  Their product is where it all started back in the 80’s with Boy George and Australia’s own Elle Macpherson.  In the 90s, I had the pleasure of working for Dome as an educator.
